 As you know if you've been to our concerts this season, we are in fund raising mode to purchase a set of four new timpani (kettledrums) for the ensemble. As the band grows, so do our needs--won't you help us out?
Furthermore, we are in an expansion mode right now; thanks to you, our patrons, the band has over tripled in size in the last 5 years, and we are currently embarking on a concentrated effort to perform more concerts in north Harris and Montgomery county. As an ensemble, we are searching for affordable percussion equipment, a set of chimes, a marimba, and other necessities to enable us to better present quality music to our audiences.
Won't you help by either contributing directly to our timpani fund, or, alternately to our general operating account? The Woodlands Concert Band is an accredited 501(c)3 charitable nonprofit organization, and yes, we do send out receipts for donations.
Interested in underwriting an entire instrument? Contact our development department ASAP! We'll include you in our programs for a year and have your name or your company's name engraved on the instrument!
